Paa is a Senior Associate at Ferociter and a team lead in the firm’s Dispute Resolution practice. He is skilled in representing clients in highly complex and challenging disputes in the firm’s practice areas. Previously, Paa built his competence leading disputes in corporate and commercial law, commercial and investment arbitration, mining and natural resources law, construction, and employment law in a leading law firm in Accra. Paa has also developed the ability to manage and coordinate cross border disputes through his experience of working closely with lawyers in multiple jurisdictions.

Prior to, and since joining Ferociter, Paa’s representative matters include:

• GPGC Ltd in its successful UNCITRAL arbitration claim against the Government of Ghana (GoG) for breach of an emergency power agreement.
• A privately-owned Bulk Distribution Company in a USD 2.5 Million dispute over the purchase of Brass Light Crude Oil (BLCO) under an international trade contract.
• Shareholders of Latex Foam Rubber Products Ltd. in their corporate litigation on the management of the Company.
• A major player in the petroleum downstream sector in a claim of fraud involving business email compromise in a cross-border transaction.
