Samuel graduated top of his class, receiving the prestigious John Mensah Sarbah award for the best graduating student from the Ghana School of Law. He is a talented advocate and a safe pair of hands for research on finer points of law. His practice focuses on admiralty, construction, and commercial disputes. He is a rising star in our complex commercial dispute practice and he was recently awarded the prestigious Rhodes Scholarship for postgraduate studies at the University of Oxford.
The matters in which Samuel has played a leading role include:
- Representing an engineering and design firm in an on-going EPC contract dispute involving a multi-national group of companies.
- Representing a major player in the construction industry in a novel case involving the recognition of foreign insolvency proceedings in Ghana.
- Representing a privately-owned Bulk Distribution Company in a USD 2.5 Million dispute over the purchase of Brass Light Crude Oil (BLCO) under an international trade contract.
